Job summary

PetSmart is seeking an Experience Lead to deliver outstanding pet parent service while upholding our vision and values. This role drives customer experiences through loyalty and promotions and oversees store safety, cleanliness, merchandising and engagement.

You will lead by example, train and coach teammates, and supervise as Leader on Duty. The position requires 2+ years of retail experience, full-time availability, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail experience in a customer-focused environment.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Full-time availability required, flexibility in schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Proficiency in computer applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to react under pressure and maintain composure.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates the associate experience and supports associate development.
• Leads daily tasks and supervises as Leader on Duty.
• Maintain store standards and ensure safety of people and pets.
• Assist with store opening/closing, checkout, and cash handling.
• Promote live pet sales, adoptions, and marketing events.
• Provide customer service to pet parents in-store, online, or by phone.
• Coordinate with Services businesses when needed.
