Rochester Regional Health's Imaging Center–Northern Heights is seeking a PET Technologist to perform PET/CT scans, handle radiopharmaceuticals, and maintain QA processes. The role requires nuclear medicine training, ARRT/NMTCB certification timelines, and NYS radiologic licensure considerations.
The candidate will work in Radiology with flexible hours; safety, accuracy, and patient care are emphasized, including lab testing and information-system duties.

Performs all diagnostic exams, quality assurance procedures, the receipt, administration and disposal of radiopharmaceuticals, records all data on appropriate computerized information system.
Bachelors degree in Nuclear Medicine or completion of certification program required. Two (2) years of experience preferred ARRT and/or NMTCB Certification within three (3) months of hire Certificate of Registration as a Radiologic Technologist limited to the practice of Nuclear Medicine within six (6) months of hire
Moderate - Clinical - Moderate clinical roles are patient facing roles that require continual movement, including standing, walking, and lifting 20–50 lbs., along with pushing and pulling medical equipment and assisting with patient positioning. Employees perform frequent bending, twisting, and reaching while completing fine motor tasks in busy or confined clinical environments. High sensory acuity is essential for monitoring patient status and responding to alarms or safety concerns. Emotional and cognitive demands are substantial, involving decision-making under pressure, responding to emergencies, and maintaining sustained focus. Environmental exposures include infectious agents, bodily fluids, chemicals, and radiation. TB testing, mask-fit testing, and physical exams are common requirements. For disease specific care programs refer to the program specific requirements of the department for further specifications on experience and educational expectations, including continuing education requirements. PAY RANGE: $39.00 - $53.00 CITY: Rochester POSTAL CODE: 14621 The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
