Job summary

Petco is seeking a Pet Stylist to provide expert grooming services for dogs and cats in our grooming salon. You will bathe, trim, and style, while ensuring a safe, comfortable experience for each pet and clear communication with pet parents.

The role requires strong grooming knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as scheduled. A grooming training program or apprenticeship is preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of Pet Stylist Apprentice program or grooming training.
• High school diploma preferred but not required.
• Strong grooming knowledge and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional grooming services (bathing, drying, brushing, cuts, nails, ears, glands).
• Operate grooming tools and maintain sanitation of tools and area.
• Prioritize safety and well‑being of animals and satisfaction of pet parents.
