Job summary

Petco Animal Supplies, Inc. is seeking a Pro Pet Stylist to deliver expert grooming services for dogs, ensuring each pet’s safety and comfort and delivering outstanding customer service to pet parents.

You will groom using clippers, blades, brushes, and baths, while maintaining a clean salon, following Petco policies, and supporting team members. Weekend/evening availability is required, with opportunities for career development.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of Pet Stylist Apprentice program with Petco or equivalent grooming training.
• High‑school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to handle pets of all sizes with care and empathy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for interactions with pet parents.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional grooming services (bathing, drying, brushing, haircuts, nails).
• Operate and maintain grooming instruments (clippers, blades, brushes, dryers).
• Prioritize safety and well‑being of animals in the salon and report concerns.
• Interact with pet parents to provide grooming recommendations and care tips.
