Petco in the grooming salon is seeking a dedicated Pet Stylist to deliver professional grooming services for dogs, including baths, trims, and styling. You will ensure each pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being while providing excellent customer service to pet parents.

Qualifications

• Pet Stylist Apprentice program completed or grooming experience.
• High-school diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and genuine passion for animals.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional grooming services per client instructions and breed standards.
• Operate grooming tools and equipment safely.
• Prioritize animal safety and welfare; monitor for distress.
• Assess coat, skin, temperament; tailor grooming plan.
• Engage with pet parents; provide grooming advice.
• Educate on at-home care and maintenance.
• Keep grooming area clean and sanitized.
• Assist and train entry-level trainees when needed.
