You will engage with pet parents, explain at-home care, and ensure a clean, safe salon environment. Weekend/evening availability is required to align with grooming schedules and store operations.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the Pet Stylist Apprentice program with Petco, or equivalent grooming training.
• High school diploma or GED preferred, though not required.
• Demonstrated grooming accuracy and attention to safety, with problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional grooming services including bathing, drying, brushing, and haircuts per client instructions.
• Operate and maintain grooming instruments such as clippers, blades, and dryers.
• Prioritize pet safety and well‑being, monitor for discomfort, and report concerns to management.
• Interact professionally with pet parents and provide grooming recommendations and care guidance.
