Job summary

Petco Grooming Salon in Marana seeks a professional Pet Stylist to provide expert grooming services for our valued clients' pets. You will deliver bathing, brushing, haircuts and styling while ensuring safety and well-being, delivering outstanding customer care.

This role requires weekend/evening availability and a passion for animals, with training through the Pet Stylist Apprentice program or equivalent, plus opportunities for career growth within Petco.

Qualifications

• Completion of the Pet Stylist Apprentice program with Petco, or previous grooming experience.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to apply grooming knowledge under supervision and guidance.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional grooming services including bathing, drying, brushing, haircuts and styling, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and gland cleaning.
• Operate and maintain grooming instruments and keep the salon clean and sanitized.
• Provide excellent customer service, grooming recommendations, and timely resolutions to questions.
• Educate pet parents on at-home care and maintenance practices.
• May train, support, and supervise entry-level trainees when needed.
