Job summary

Pet Supplies Plus, a locally owned franchise operated by MPM Retail Holdings, is seeking a Store Team Leader to oversee store operations, build a strong leadership team, and ensure consistent execution of company standards.

You will coach and develop the Assistant Store Team Leader and department managers, recruit and onboard staff, set schedules, manage inventory and safety, analyze performance, and partner with district leadership on results and local marketing.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail leadership experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coach, develop, and hold leaders and team members accountable.

Responsibilities

• Own store operations, team performance, and business results.
• Lead, coach, and develop management team.
• Recruit, onboard, and retain a fully staffed team.
• Create schedules aligning with labor standards.
• Analyze performance and drive sales, profitability, productivity, loyalty, and neighbor engagement.
• Maintain inventory controls and safety standards.
• Communicate results and staffing needs to District Leadership.
• Build community relationships and local marketing opportunities.
