Job summary

Independent Pet Partners is seeking a part-time Supervisor in Illinois to deliver outstanding guest experiences and support store operations. You will manage front-end duties, train staff on product knowledge, and help execute promotions and events to drive sales while maintaining a clean, welcoming store environment.

Ideal candidates have supervisory experience, a passion for pet health and customer service, and the ability to work evenings/weekends with strong communication and time-management

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Passion for extraordinary customer service and pet well-being.
• Professional retail sales experience preferred.
• Professional supervisory experience preferred.
• Will be educated about products and services offered.
• Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with an exceptional experience.
• Assist the Store Manager in overall management of store operations.
• Share product knowledge and suggestions to fit customer needs and promote pet health.
• Perform front end duties such as cash register, bagging, replenishing merchandise, and displays.
• Organize and maintain a clean store front and stock room.
• Assist with markdowns, re-tickets, labeling, and special store events.
• All other duties from Store Manager or Retail Management Team.
