Job summary

Tractor Supply and Petsense by Tractor Supply is seeking Team Members to provide legendary customer service while supporting selling initiatives and performing assigned tasks.

You will be available for varied shifts, support live animals care, merchandise, operate cash registers, and assist customers with loading purchases. A focus on safety, accuracy, and friendly service is essential in this team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Experience: No experience required.
• Retail experience and/or pet/live animal knowledge is strongly preferred.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required. Reading, writing and counting accurately is essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts and varied hours, days, nights, weekends and overtime as needed.
• Support selling initiatives (TEAM) by thanking customers, engaging with them and advising products or services.
• Operate cash register/computer following cash handling procedures.
• Recover merchandise and participate in freight process.
• Execute Plan-o-gram merchandising and set resets.
• Assemble merchandise and perform janitorial duties.
• Execute price changes/markdowns and assist customers with loading purchases.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of live animals and care for their habitat.
• Handle and care for all live animals, including their food and bedding.
• Complete all documentation for duties performed.
• May be assigned other duties as needed.
