Independent Pet Partners is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead store team members and optimize operations while delivering outstanding customer service. You will influence performance, promote pet health products, and support sales goals.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Minimum 1 year of professional retail sales experience.
• Minimum 1 year of professional managerial experience.
• Willingness to be educated about products and services offered.
• Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets.
• Excellent communication skills—verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with an exceptional experience.
• Assist the Store Manager in overall management of store operations.
• Share product knowledge and suggestions to meet customer needs and promote pet health.
• Coach and lead Team Members to provide an exceptional guest experience and achieve sales goals.
• Oversee inventory activities including replenishment, adjustments, cycle counts, transfers, and shipments.
• Organize special store events and promotions.
• Interact with pet parents in-person, via email, text, and phone.
• Perform front-end duties such as cash handling, bagging, displays.
