Job summary

Providence St. Joseph Hospital Eureka is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for the PET Scan Unit. This full-time role features 10-hour day shifts and collaborates with radiologists, cardiologists, and radiation physicists to deliver radionuclide-based imaging and therapy.

Under the direction of department leadership, you will participate in quality control, patient care, and on-call staffing as needed, while supporting Providence's patient-focused mission and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved nuclear medicine technology program.
• CNMT certification from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board or NMT registration at hire.
• California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification at hire.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association at hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic radionuclide-based procedures for all patient ages per department standards.
• Serves as a customer service representative to patients, families, the public, and medical staff.
• Participates in quality control and organizational improvement activities.
• Participates in call schedule to meet department staffing needs.
