Job summary

NVA Pet Resorts is seeking a General Manager for The Barking Dog – Derry resort in Derry, New Hampshire. You will lead day-to-day operations, guest experiences, and the resort’s financial performance while guiding a capable team to deliver outstanding pet care and service.

You’ll develop leaders, drive revenue growth, manage costs, and uphold brand standards across hospitality and pet care. This role blends hands-on leadership with business ownership in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of management experience with P&L responsibility.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills.
• Ability to drive revenue and manage costs in a fast-paced resort setting.
• Proficiency with MS Office and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing resort team and uphold brand standards.
• Own resort performance against budget and key metrics.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to drive lead generation and retention.
• Hire, onboard, train, and retain staff across front- and back-of-house.
• Ensure safety, guest experience, and facility standards.
• Lead Manager on Duty shifts and maintain training across departments.
