Job summary

Barkaritaville Pet Resort is seeking an experienced Front Office Coordinator for our Corpus Christi location. This is a full-time, on-site role with a salary of $15.00–$18.00 per hour, based on experience.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of recent front office or administrative experience in a fast-paced environment, strong customer service and multitasking abilities, and comfort working around dogs and cats.

Qualifications

• At least 3+ years of recent professional front office or administrative experience.
• Strong telephone and face-to-face customer service experience.
• Experience managing multiple responsibilities and competing priorities.
• Strong computer skills and ability to quickly learn new software.
• Experience handling cash, payments, and balancing daily transactions.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Reliability, punctuality, and consistent attendance.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Ability to stay organized during busy periods.
• Comfortable working around dogs and cats.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, friendly service to clients in person and by phone
• Manage a busy phone line, answer questions, and communicate accurate information
• Schedule reservations and maintain customer and pet records
• Check pets in and out for daycare, boarding, grooming, and other services
• Process payments and maintain accurate billing records
• Resolve routine client concerns professionally and know when to involve management
• Enter and maintain accurate information in our reservation software
• Prioritize multiple tasks and follow through in a fast-paced front office
• Communicate clearly with clients and team members
• Assist with safe pet handling and resort operations when needed
