K9 Resorts of Turnersville is seeking a Pet Boarding Assistant Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure an exceptional customer experience while working with dogs. You will manage staff across resort functions, handle scheduling, open/close, and coordinate feeding/medication; weekend and holiday hours are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of management experience in pet boarding, kennel management, luxury hospitality, or high-end retail.
• Knowledge and experience in business, supervision, and management.
• Demonstrate a love for dogs.
• Well-organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a strong resort culture by adhering to Company Values and Mission.
• Familiarize yourself with budgets, revenue, and controllable expenses.
• Empower employees to take responsibility for their roles and goals; delegate tasks and expect accountability and feedback.
• Follow all operational procedures as outlined in the K9 Resorts Operations Manual.
• Be knowledgeable of all basic functions of the point-of-sale system.
• Open the building in the morning and ensure its security at closing.
• Provide tours of the facility to potential customers.
• Develop and implement pet feeding/medication schedules, and feed/medicate dogs when necessary.
• Be capable of performing any job requirement of any staff member at any time.
