Job summary

NVA Pet Resorts in New Hampshire is seeking a Pet Pro Lead to supervise daily pet care operations, coach team members, and ensure safety, cleanliness, and documentation standards on the floor. This is a hands-on leadership role you will actively work alongside your team.

Qualifications

• Experience in animal handling and group dog supervision.
• 1+ year of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work outdoors/in varying temperatures.
• Strong attention to safety and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Train and mentor Pet Pros.
• Reinforce safety protocols and handling techniques.
• Monitor team performance and provide real-time feedback.
• Step in immediately when safety concerns arise.
• Ensure documentation and charting standards are followed.
• Supervise daycare playgroups and boarding areas.
• Monitor dog interactions and prevent conflicts.
• Ensure proper feeding and medication handling.
• Review special notes and health concerns.
• Maintain sanitation and inventory control.
• Identify facility maintenance issues.
