Job summary

NVA Pet Resorts in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking a hands-on Pet Pro Lead to supervise daily pet care operations, coach team members, and ensure top safety, cleanliness, and documentation standards. You will work alongside your team and coach them to uphold care standards.

You will report to the Resort Manager and General Manager, overseeing daycare playgroups, boarding areas, and health reporting while maintaining a calm, professional environment during shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in animal handling and group dog supervision.
• 1+ year of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Comfort enforcing standards and holding others accountable.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor Pet Pros to ensure high standards of care and safety.
• Monitor playgroups and boarding safety and intervene as needed.
• Ensure medication, feeding protocols, sanitation and cleaning standards are followed.
• Maintain accurate health reporting and documentation.
• Foster a calm, structured, and professional environment during shifts.
