Job summary

NVA Pet Resorts, part of National Veterinary Associates, seeks a Pet Pro Lead in Ann Arbor to supervise daily pet care operations and coach team members while upholding safety, cleanliness, and documentation standards.

You will work hands-on with the team, monitor boarding and daycare activities, reinforce safety protocols, ensure proper medication and feeding procedures, and maintain a calm, professional environment; weekend/holiday coverage is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in animal handling and group dog supervision
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor Pet Pros to maintain high safety and care standards
• Supervise daycare playgroups and boarding areas; monitor dog interactions
• Ensure medication, feeding, and special handling protocols are followed
• Maintain sanitation, cleaning, and laundry procedures across pet areas
• Oversee documentation and health reporting; ensure accurate charting
