Job summary

NVA Pet Resorts is seeking a Pet Pro Lead to supervise daily pet care operations, coach team members, and ensure safety, cleanliness, and documentation standards are consistently met. This is a hands-on leadership role performed on the floor with the team.

You will report to Resort Management and lead frontline animal care operations, with emphasis on safety, training, documentation, and a calm, professional environment throughout shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in animal handling and group dog supervision.
• Confident leading and coaching team members.
• Calm and decisive in high-energy situations.
• Observant with strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable enforcing standards and holding others accountable.
• Reliable and dependable — especially on weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach Pet Pros, ensuring safety, care and quality standards.
• Monitor daycare playgroups and boarding areas for safety and protocol compliance.
• Oversee feeding, medication, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.
• Ensure accurate documentation and health reporting.
• Maintain a calm, professional environment and enforce accountability.
