Job summary

NVA Pet Resorts in Albuquerque is seeking a Pet Pro Lead to supervise daily pet care operations and coach the on-site team. This hands-on leadership role emphasizes safety, cleanliness, documentation, and exceptional guest experiences for clients and their pets.

The Pet Pro Lead reports to the Resort Manager and General Manager and is responsible for training staff, monitoring playgroups and boarding safety, and ensuring adherence to feeding and medication protocols.

Qualifications

• Experience with animal handling and group dog supervision.
• Ability to lead and coach team members.
• Calm and decisive in high-energy situations.
• Strong attention to detail and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Coach and train Pet Pros to maintain safety and care standards.
• Supervise daycare playgroups and boarding areas to prevent conflicts.
• Ensure medication, feeding, and special handling protocols are followed.
• Maintain sanitation, cleaning, and laundry procedures.
• Review health concern forms and report incidents as needed.
• Document and chart pet care activities accurately.
