Job summary

NVA Pet Resorts is seeking a Pet Pro Lead to supervise daily pet care operations and coach the team on safety, care, and documentation. This is a hands-on leadership role working alongside staff to maintain high standards.

The position reports to the Resort Manager and General Manager, with responsibilities spanning playgroups, medication and feeding protocols, sanitation, and accurate health reporting. Weekend availability and physical endurance are required to ensure top-tier care.

Qualifications

• Experienced in animal handling and group dog supervision.
• Confident leading and coaching team members.
• Calm and decisive in high-energy situations.
• Observant with strong attention to detail.
• Reliable and dependable—especially on weekends and holidays.
• Able to lift up to 60 lbs and stand/move for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor Pet Pros.
• Monitor playgroups and boarding safety.
• Ensure medication, feeding and special handling protocols.
• Oversee sanitation, cleaning, and laundry procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation and health reporting.
• Enforce safe handling procedures.
• Monitor inventory and report maintenance issues.
