Mixlab, the first modern pet pharmacy, is seeking a Compounding Pharmacy Technician in our Los Angeles location. This part-time role (approx. 28 hours/week) requires attention to detail and the ability to work with veterinary medications under pharmacist supervision.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years as a pharmacy technician in compounding, a customer-focused mindset, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Must love pets and be prepared to support a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience as a pharmacy technician in a compounding setting.
• Experience in veterinary care or medical field is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Customer-focused mindset with good communication skills.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Assist with compounding nonsterile pharmaceutical preparations under supervising pharmacist.
• Maintain accuracy and potency in preparations.
• Package and label prescriptions, including bulk medications.
• Monitor inventory levels and reorder as needed.
• Adhere to USP guidelines for non-sterile compounding.
• Perform environmental monitoring and cleaning per SOPs.
• Collaborate with team and problem-solve with pharmacist support.
