Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Math, Finance, Actuarial Science, Economics or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; experience with SQL, R, or Python is a plus.
• Ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Completes actuarial analysis, valuations, cost estimates, and modeling using mathematical and statistical methods.
• Prepare rate filings, pricing analysis, and experience reports for review.
• Assist with completion of rate filing documents for all states.
• Maintain and update models, tools, and files used for analysis.
• Interprets rate regulations and provides support for rating development.
