Qualifications

• Certification in Nuclear Medicine by NMTCB or ARRT(N) required.
• CT license/certification preferred.
• State license, as required.
• CPR certification required.
• 1-2 years PET imaging experience or 1-2 years Nuclear Medicine experience required.
• 1-2 years CT technologist experience preferred.
• Local travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform PET radiographic exams per department protocols.
• Deliver patient care with safety and empathy.
• Explain procedures to patients and obtain consent.
• Interpret physician orders and select imaging parameters.
• Ensure radiation safety and proper documentation.
• Train new technologists and assist with equipment.
• Maintain PET suite and equipment.
• Assist scheduling and maintain patient records.
