Job summary

PetSmart’s PetsHotel Experience Lead role focuses on delivering exceptional service to pet parents and pets. The position emphasizes leadership of associates, safe operations, and maintaining a clean, healthy hotel environment within the store context.

You will oversee pet care quality, respond to concerns, and coordinate daily operations, safety, and guest satisfaction in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail supervisory experience in a customer-focused environment.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Full-time availability required; flexibility in schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficiency in computer applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to react under pressure and maintain composure.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the associate experience and support development through training, onboarding, mentoring, and coaching.
• Delegate and validate completion of daily tasks and lead when on duty.
• Oversee store operations and maintain a safe, clean environment for pets and people.
• Manage pet parent experiences via phone, in person, or online; address concerns.
• Ensure pet healthcare and facility cleanliness; administer medications as needed.
• Complete check-in/check-out processes with health information; manage boarding reservations.
