Job summary

PetVet Care Centers is seeking a Hospital Manager for our Ruckersville location. You will lead the hospital support team, partner with the Veterinarian, and drive efficient operations focused on high-quality patient care and top-tier service.

The role requires at least five years of office management experience, strong communication, and the ability to manage schedules and budgets in a dynamic veterinary setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, health science or related field strongly preferred.
• At least five years of direct office management experience, including supervisory experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises staff across hospital support departments and meets labor goals.
• Hires and trains office and technical clinic staff; manages onboarding paperwork.
• Orients and trains new clinic staff to hospital operations.
• Reviews performance, provides feedback, and discusses with Regional Manager.
• Manages daily operations and coordinates with DVM for schedules.
• Oversees budgeting, purchases, and maintenance of facility.
