Job summary

Elanco is seeking a US Pet Health Veterinary Sales Representative for the Everett/Mt. Vernon area. This field-based role requires driving to clinics and hospitals, executing sales plans, and building relationships with key influencers in veterinary medicine.

The position expects a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 2+ years in companion animal sales, a valid driver's license, and legal authorization to work in the United States. Travel is 25–50% across the US.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree or High School Diploma/GED with equivalent level of experience.
• Experience: At least 2 years in companion animal veterinary pharmaceutical sales or equivalent selling experience in a competitive environment.
• Top Skills: Team first approach with a hustle mentality and eagerness to win.
• Must have a Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not anticipated.

Responsibilities

• Provides a leadership role for distributor representatives within assigned geography.
• Responsible for product placement with targeted accounts in the area.
• Executes sales objectives and strategies with corporate own hospitals.
• Completes a territory business plan with key wins identified.
• Executes the plan and achieves sales goals while managing expenses.
• Liaises with local veterinary associations regarding state VMA meetings.
• Spends time in the field meeting hospital influencers face to face.
• Sets up and executes launch meetings with veterinary services for each product launch.
