Job summary

Elanco is seeking a US Pet Health Veterinary Sales Representative to engage with veterinary customers and achieve sales goals for Elanco products in an assigned geography. This field role supports a historic product launch period and requires field leadership with hospitals and corporate coordination.

Travel is 25-50% with a field-based footprint covering Portland, Beaverton, and nearby Washington areas. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required, with 2+ years in veterinary pharma

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or HS Diploma/GED with equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years in companion animal veterinary pharmaceutical sales or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead distributor representatives within assigned geography.
• Place Elanco products with targeted accounts.
• Execute sales objectives and strategies with corporate hospitals.
• Develop territory business plan with key wins.
• Meet sales goals while managing expenses.
• Coordinate with local veterinary associations for VMA meetings.
• Spend time in the field conducting face-to-face meetings with hospital influencers.
• Set up and run product launch meetings with veterinary services.
