Job summary

Elanco is seeking a Veterinary Sales Representative on the US Pet Health team to engage with veterinary customers and drive sales across an assigned geography, supporting launch periods.

As a field-based role, you will build relationships with hospitals, implement territory plans, and collaborate with veterinary services to set up launch meetings and drive successful product introductions. Travel will be 25–50% with a comprehensive benefits package and a strong bonus program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or High School Diploma/ GED with equivalent level of experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in companion animal veterinary pharmaceutical sales or equivalent selling experience in a competitive selling environment or previous Elanco intern.
• Top Skills: Team-first approach with a hustle mentality and eagerness to win.
• Must have a Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
• Authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorship for employment visa status.

Responsibilities

• Provides a leadership role for distributor representatives within the assigned geography.
• Responsible for product placement with targeted accounts in assigned areas.
• Executes sales objectives and strategies with corporate hospitals.
• Develops a territory business plan with key wins identified and executes it through the year.
• Meets objectives and sales goals while staying within an expense budget.
• Liaises with local veterinary associations for state VMA meetings.
• Spends defined time in the field meeting hospital influencers.
• Sets up and executes launch meetings with veterinary services for each product launch.
