Job summary

Petsense by Tractor Supply seeks an experienced groomer to provide professional grooming services for dogs and cats. You will follow established grooming patterns, use clippers and shears, and greet pets during check-in and scheduling.

The role requires readiness to work varied shifts, maintain a clean grooming area, and adhere to company safety policies while delivering compassionate care to animals.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 1-year experience grooming/styling pets. Must be comfortable working with dogs and cats.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Successful completion of Paragon Level 1 & 2 training provided by Petsense.
• Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered. Associates must be able to read, write and count accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional grooming services for dogs or cats using grooming styles and techniques.
• Follow and demonstrate Petsense by Tractor Supply Mission and Values.
• Answer phone and schedule appointments; greet pets as they come in.
• Clip dog’s hair according to pattern, using clippers, blades and shears.
• Maintain cleanliness of the grooming area and sanitize tools and equipment.
• Adhere to safety rules and follow all safety standards during grooming.
• Assist in store operations as needed.
