Job summary

Petco is seeking a talented Pet Stylist to deliver expert grooming services, including bathing, drying, brushing, haircuts and styling for our customers' pets. You will ensure safety and high care standards, while interacting with pet parents to provide recommendations.

Qualifications

• Completion of the Pet Stylist Apprentice program or prior professional grooming experience.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Attention to detail and compassion for animals.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional grooming services including bathing, drying, brushing, haircuts and styling, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and gland cleaning.
• Operate and maintain grooming instruments such as clippers, blades, shears, brushes and dryers.
• Prioritize safety and well‑being of every pet and report concerns to owners and management.
• Interact professionally with pet parents and offer grooming recommendations.
• Maintain a clean, safe grooming area and adhere to sanitation policies.
