Petco Animal Supplies, Inc. is seeking a skilled Pet Stylist to provide expert grooming services to customers' pets. You will bathe, dry, brush, cut and style, while prioritizing pet safety and client satisfaction.

The role requires strong grooming knowledge for various breeds, excellent communication with pet parents, and flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed. Training and advancement opportunities are available within grooming leadership tracks.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the Pet Stylist Apprentice program or grooming training.
• High-school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Strong grooming knowledge across dog breeds.
• Excellent attention to detail and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional grooming services including bathing, drying, brushing, haircuts and styling.
• Operate grooming instruments like clippers, blades, shears, brushes and dryers.
• Prioritize safety and well-being of every pet in the salon.
• Educate pet parents on grooming maintenance and at-home care.
• Train, support, and supervise entry-level trainees when needed.
