Job summary

Petsense is seeking a qualified pet groomer to provide professional grooming services for dogs and cats, following defined grooming styles and techniques. You will answer phones, schedule appointments, and greet pets as they arrive while ensuring safety and customer satisfaction.

The role requires 1+ year grooming experience, own grooming tools or willingness to purchase, and a high school diploma. Paragon training is provided by Petsense.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-year experience grooming/styling pets.
• Must be comfortable working with dogs and cats.
• Must provide own tools (clippers, blades, shears) or be willing to purchase required tools.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Paragon Level 1 & 2 training provided by Petsense.

Responsibilities

• Follow Petsense mission and values.
• Answer phone and schedule appointments.
• Book appointments and greet pets as they come in.
• Perform grooming services including bathing, clipping nails, and coat shaping.
• Adhere to safety rules and observe signs of stress in animals.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of grooming area and tools.
• Assist in store operations as needed.
