RAYUS Radiology is looking for a Technologists Assistant to join our team. We are challenging the status quo by shining light on radiology and making it a critical first step in diagnosis and proper treatment. Come join us and shine brighter together! As a Technologists Assistant, you will provide assistance to technologists in areas that allow the technologist to maintain an on-time schedule and run the scanning area in an orderly fashion.

This is a full-time position working day-shifts, 40 hours per week.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

(70%) Technologist Assistance

1. Monitors MRI, CT, arthrogram, and x-ray schedules
2. Adjusts patients' schedules when necessary and keeps all techs informed of any changes
3. Greets and escorts patients to changing room; briefly explains procedure
4. Prepares patient jackets and compiles films, putting them together in the appropriate jacket according to date and number
5. Assists technologists in room set up between patients, including putting proper coil on table, putting previous coil away, and changing table sheet
6. Helps the technologist stay on time by having the next patient ready before the current patient is ready to get off the table
7. Restores and networks all previous exams for next day's returning patients

(20%) Cleaning & Organization

1. Stocks and cleans work and control areas and MRI room(s)
2. Ensures that all MRI patient areas are stocked and organized in a neat and tidy manner
3. Cleans and stocks patient prep room and patient restroom
4. Stocks linen and empties laundry at the end of the night
5. Organizes and cleans supply closet and computer rooms
6. Organizes radiologist reading area after the radiologist has left for the day
7. Checks with MRI technologists, Medical Records, and/or Front Office for additional duties as needed

(10%) Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred:

• Enrollment in current radiologic technologist program
