RAYUS Radiology is seeking a PET/CT Technologist to join our team. We aim to innovate in radiology, making it a vital part of diagnosis and treatment. Come shine brighter with us!

This is a Full-time day shift position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Screens patients before exams for precautions or contradictions, using two patient identifiers to ensure correct patient and procedure.
2. Prepares and explains PET/CT imaging procedures to patients, including positioning and addressing questions.
3. Performs routine and advanced PET/CT imaging with minimal supervision, supporting patients throughout the process.
4. Adjusts scan parameters and utilizes dose reduction techniques as needed.
5. Maintains positive relationships with radiologists, referring physicians, and colleagues.
6. Follows physician orders and safety regulations to protect patients and staff.
7. Maintains accurate patient records in the Radiology Information System (RIS).
8. Ensures a clean, safe work environment and maintains equipment and accreditation standards.
9. Handles radiopharmaceuticals according to regulations and departmental policies, including administration of FDG.
10. Demonstrates safety awareness and reports contamination as required.

Department Support

1. Assists with updating protocols, managing supplies, and training new staff.
2. Performs quality control on equipment and radiation safety surveys regularly.
