Job summary

Akumin is seeking a PRN PET/CT Technologist to join our Oregon mobile team. This role features two 12-hour days per week across Portland, Hillsboro and Astoria, enabling high-quality PET/CT imaging close to home for patients.

You will ensure patient safety, operate imaging equipment, and communicate clearly with patients and radiologists. Flexibility to work at multiple sites and adaptability are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification required.
• State license as required and CPR certification.
• Ability to work at multiple locations and drive if needed.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Pre-screen patients and ensure radiation safety protocols.
• Produce high quality PET/CT images and studies.
• Explain procedures to patients and coordinate with radiologists.
• Train new technologists and troubleshoot equipment as needed.
