Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a part-time PET/CT Technologist to join our team in the United States. The role involves operating PET/CT scanners, preparing patients, and delivering high-quality imaging for diagnoses and treatment planning.

Candidates must be NMTCB or ARRT registered in Nuclear Medicine, AMA-approved radiography graduates, state licensure where required, and CPR certified. Strong patient communication and adherence to safety are essential.

Qualifications

• NMTCB or ARRT registered technologist in Nuclear Medicine, current and in good standing.
• Graduate of AMA approved school of radiography.
• Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
• Current CPR certification.
• Must have training and experience to perform PET/CT procedures independently.
• Certification in imaging specialty.

Responsibilities

• Operate PET/CT scanner to produce diagnostic images of the body.
• Explain procedures to patients and prepare them for imaging.
• Perform routine and advanced PET/CT imaging with minimal supervision.
• Adjust scan parameters and apply dose reduction techniques as needed.
• Maintain patient records in Radiology Information System (RIS).
• Ensure safety, HIPAA compliance, and clean work area.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals according to regulations.
• Demonstrate safe work practices and report any contamination.
