Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a PET/CT Technologist to join our team. The role involves operating PET/CT scanners to produce diagnostic images, guiding patients through procedures, and maintaining records in RIS. You will ensure safety, HIPAA compliance, and quality control within the department.

Qualifications

• NMTCB or ARRT registered technologist in Nuclear Medicine.
• Graduate of AMA approved school of radiography.
• Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state.
• Current CPR certification.
• Must be able to perform PET/CT procedures independently.
• Certification in imaging specialty.

Responsibilities

• Operate PET/CT scanners to produce diagnostic images.
• Explain procedures and prep patients for PET/CT imaging.
• Perform routine and advanced PET/CT imaging with supervision.
• Maintain patient records in RIS.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and safety regulations.
• Support PET/CT department operations and quality control.

Education

NMTCB or ARRT registered technologist in Nuclear Medicine

AMA approved school of radiography

Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state

CPR certification

Training and experience to perform PET/CT procedures independently
