Job summary

Akumin is hiring a PET/CT Technologist at our Modesto, CA facility. The role involves performing high-quality PET/CT imaging, ensuring patient safety, and communicating clearly with patients and radiologists. This full-time position requires the ability to work across multiple sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Certification in Nuclear Medicine by the NMTCB or ARRT (N)
• State license, as required
• CPR certification
• As applicable, valid state driver’s license
• Strong customer service skills
• Organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety and radiation safety/documentation.
• Produce high quality diagnostic PET/CT images.
• Communicate effectively with patients and radiologists.
• Train new technologists and/or colleagues.
• Troubleshoot scanner and peripheral equipment.
