Job summary

Akumin Inc. is hiring a part-time PET/CT Technologist for our Thousand Oaks, Woodland Hills, Camarillo, and Simi Valley locations. You will ensure patient safety, prepare and image using PET/CT, and communicate results with radiologists and patients.

The ideal candidate has NMTCB/ARRT (N) certification, CPR, and state licensing as required, with strong customer service and multi-site flexibility. Join a team delivering high-quality imaging and compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• Pre-screening for contraindications and radiation safety procedures.
• Produces high-quality diagnostic PET/CT images.
• Trains new technologists and/or PCs.
• Ability to work at multiple locations within the region.
• CPR and state licensing as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient safety including pre-screening for contraindications, aseptic injection technique, and radiation safety/regulations.
• Produces high quality diagnostic images.
• Effectively communicates with customers and radiologists.
• Trains new technologists and/or PCs.
• Troubleshoots the scanner, coach, and peripheral equipment (monitors, PACS, coils).
