Job summary

Northside Hospital Inc. is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to support two outpatient mobile PET/CT centers in Atlanta and surrounding areas.

You will perform contrast administration, EMR documentation, review physician orders, and provide direct patient care to ensure high-quality imaging for radiologist interpretation. Travel between Northside locations (Macon weekly and Village Center Imaging bi-weekly) is required, with typical 8:30 AM–5:00 PM hours.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology and/or Radiologic Technology program.
• CNMT or PET certification by NMTCB.
• ARRT registration as Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
• Advanced CT certification (ARRT or NMTCB).
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Support two outpatient mobile PET/CT centers.
• Administer contrast and document EMR entries.
• Review physician orders and patient history; provide direct patient care.
• Ensure image quality review for radiologist interpretation.
• Coordinate between Northside Hospital and PET/CT mobile staff to ensure patient care quality.
• Travel to Northside locations; Macon weekly and Village Center Imaging bi-weekly.

Education

Accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology and/or Radiologic Technology program

CNMT or PET certification by NMTCB

ARRT Registered as Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Advanced CT certification (ARRT or NMTCB)

Responsibilities

Responsible for providing support to two outpatient mobile PET/CT centers. Duties to include:

• Contrast Administration
• EMR Documentation
• Physician Order Review/ Patient History
• Direct Patient Care
• Image Quality Review for Radiologist Interpretation

This individual would act as a liaison between Northside Hospital and PET/CT Mobile Staff to ensure the best patient care is provided. This individual will work closely with physicians, particularly radiologists and nuclear medicine physicians, to ensure the safe and accurate acquisition of images and data needed for diagnosing and treating diseases.

Travel to both Northside locations will be required. (NS Macon PET/CT Imaging will be on a weekly basis while NS Village Center Imaging will be bi-weekly basis).

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology and/or Radiologic Technology program.
• CNMT or PET certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board
• OR Registered as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist through American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT).
• Advanced certification in Computed Tomography with ARRT or NMTCB.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
