Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and operate imaging equipment for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. You will work closely with physicians to ensure safe, accurate image acquisition and data collection for diagnosis and treatment.

The ideal candidate is certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with ARRT or NMTCB (or eligible within 6 months) and holds American Heart Association BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Requires ARRT or NMTCB certification (or eligible within 6 months)
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients.
• Operate imaging equipment for diagnostic imaging or therapeutic purposes.
• Collaborate with physicians to ensure safe and accurate acquisition of images and data for diagnosis and treatment.

Responsibilities

Responsible for preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals to patients and operating imaging equipment for diagnostic imaging or therapeutic purposes. Works closely with physicians to ensure the safe and accurate acquisition of images and data needed for diagnosing and treating diseases

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program AND Certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with the ARRT or NMTCB OR meets the eligibility requirements for certification. Certification must be achieved within 6 months of hire/transfer.

• Associate’s Degree or higher AND Certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with the ARRT or NMTCB


• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
