Job summary

Associates in Medical Imaging, LLC is seeking a PET Technologist in Cincinnati, OH to perform PET/CT imaging procedures with patient-centered care. You will prepare radiopharmaceuticals, operate PET/CT equipment, and document procedures accurately in RIS, PACS, and EMR.

The role requires graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT radiography certification, and PET/CT training or NM certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology/Radiography program.
• Current ARRT certification/registration in Radiography.
• Certification in Nuclear Medicine (ARRT(N) or NMTCB) as applicable.
• CT certification and/or clinical competency as required by regs and standards.
• Minimum of one year PET/CT experience preferred or completed PET/CT training program.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, educate, and safely position patients for PET/CT procedures.
• Prepare, handle, and administer radiopharmaceuticals per protocols and safety standards.
• Perform PET/CT examinations, including positioning, acquisition, processing, and quality evaluation.
• Operate PET/CT and related equipment; conduct quality control procedures.
• Review images for technical quality and obtain additional imaging as directed.
• Document patient, procedure, radiopharmaceutical, and imaging data in RIS, PACS, EMR, and related systems.
• Monitor patients and communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and staff.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with safety, regulatory, and licensure requirements.
