Job summary

Associates in Medical Imaging, LLC in Canton, OH, seeks a PET/CT Technologist to perform PET and CT imaging with safe, compassionate, patient-centered care. You will prepare radiopharmaceuticals, operate PET/CT equipment, acquire images, and maintain documentation per established protocols.

Requirements include ARRT Radiography, ARRT(N) or NMTCB Nuclear Medicine, CT certification, and state licensure as applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology/Radiography program.
• Current ARRT certification/registration in Radiography.
• Certification in Nuclear Medicine through ARRT(N) or NMTCB.
• CT certification and/or clinical competency as required.
• Minimum of one year PET/CT experience preferred or completed PET/CT training with clinical experience.
• Current state licensure as required.
• Strong technical, communication, organizational, and patient-care skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform PET/CT imaging procedures with patient-centered care.
• Prepare, educate, and position patients for PET/CT procedures.
• Handle and administer radiopharmaceuticals per protocols and safety standards.
• Operate PET/CT imaging equipment and perform quality control.
• Review images for technical quality and obtain additional imaging as directed.
• Document information in RIS, PACS, EMR and other systems.
• Monitor patients and communicate effectively with care team.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional licensure requirements.
