Job summary

Charlotte Radiology, P.A. in Fort Mill, SC seeks a PET/CT Imaging Specialist to perform PET/CT procedures, prepare radiopharmaceuticals, and ensure patient safety.

You will collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to deliver high-quality results while maintaining regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will hold ARRT in Nuclear Medicine, possess PET/CT experience, and have an Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology, with strong attention to detail and patient care in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• ARRT certification, Nuclear Medicine
• PET/CT imaging knowledge and protocols
• BLS certification required or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Perform PET/CT imaging procedures according to established protocols.
• Prepare, measure, and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately.
• Ensure patient identification, education, and comfort throughout the imaging process.
• Screen patients for contraindications and obtain relevant medical history.
• Operate and maintain PET/CT equipment to ensure optimal image quality.
• Monitor patients during procedures and respond to adverse reactions.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control protocols.
• Review images for quality and completeness prior to submission.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to support accurate diagnosis.
• Maintain documentation and patient records in compliance with regulations.
• Perform routine quality control and report equipment issues as needed.
