Job summary

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute, LLC seeks a PET/CT Technologist to administer radiopharmaceuticals, perform PET/CT imaging, and ensure patient safety and comfort. You will calibrate equipment, conduct QC checks, and document patient histories to guide diagnostic procedures.

A CNMT or ARRT(N) credential and ARRT CT are required, with state licensure and BLS. Strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or ARRT(N) registration required.
• ARRT CT certification must be obtained within two years of hire.
• State CRT license required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiopharmaceuticals or radiation intravenously under physician supervision.
• Calculate and record radiation dosage following physician’s prescription.
• Detect and map radiopharmaceuticals using imaging equipment.
• Maintain and calibrate PET/CT and related equipment.
• Perform quality control checks on scanners and dose calibrators.
• Explain procedures and safety precautions to patients.
