Job summary

Akumin is seeking a PET/CT Technologist for our facilities in the Atlanta, GA region. This full-time role requires high-quality imaging, patient safety, and effective communication with radiologists and patients.

Qualified candidates will have NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification, CPR, and 1–2 years Nuclear Medicine experience. Local travel may be required; strong customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Certification in Nuclear Medicine by the NMTCB or ARRT (N) is required.
• State license, as required.
• CPR certification required.
• 1-2 years experience in Nuclear Medicine preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient safety including pre-screening and radiation safety procedures.
• Produces high quality diagnostic PET/CT images.
• Effectively communicates with patients and radiologists.
• Trains new technologists and/or PCs.
• Troubleshoots the scanner and peripheral equipment.
