Job summary

Akumin is hiring a PET/CT Technologist for our mobile facilities in and around Marietta, GA. This full-time role emphasizes patient communication and precise imaging to deliver high-quality PET/CT studies. Sign-on bonus of $10,000 is included.

You will ensure patient safety, follow radiation regulations, and collaborate with radiologists. Required: High School Diploma, NMTCB/ARRT N certification, state license, and CPR.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification in Nuclear Medicine (NMTCB or ARRT N) required.
• State license required, as applicable.
• CPR certification required.
• Ability to work at several locations.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Basic knowledge of computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety and radiation safety compliance.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic PET/CT images.
• Communicate effectively with patients and radiologists.
• Train newly hired technologists and support staff.
• Troubleshoot scanner, coach, and peripheral equipment.
