Akumin Inc. is hiring a PET/CT Technologist to support mobile facilities around Marietta, GA. The role focuses on producing high-quality PET/CT images, ensuring patient safety, and delivering compassionate patient care across multiple sites.

Training new staff and collaborating with radiologists are key aspects of the job. The position offers a full-time schedule with an emphasis on accuracy, safety, and patient comfort in a dynamic outpatient imaging environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• NMTCB or ARRT (N) certification required.
• State license as required.
• CPR certification required.
• Valid state driver’s license if applicable.
• Ability to work at several locations.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Basic knowledge of computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety including pre-screening and aseptic technique.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic PET/CT images.
• Communicate effectively with customers and radiologists.
• Train new technologists and/or PCs.
• Troubleshoot scanner, coach, and peripheral equipment (monitors, PACS, coils, etc.).
