Job summary

The Swiftest, Inc. is growing its pet content team in a fast-paced, remote-friendly environment. You will help scale our published articles, ensure accuracy, and uphold high editorial standards across pet insurance and related financial content.

You’ll collaborate with writers, editors, freelancers, and SMEs, manage calendars, and optimize content for SEO while maintaining disclosure and trust standards. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting editorial operations for a digital publisher, affiliate site, SaaS company, or comparison website.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Strong organizational/time management skills.
• Understanding of SEO, LLMs, and search-driven content.
• Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress.

Responsibilities

• Manage the editorial production calendar.
• Fact-check content for accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
• Work with writers, editors, freelancers, and subject matter experts.
• Ensure articles publish accurately, on time, and to a high-quality standard.
• Follow editorial workflows, SOPs, QA systems, and publishing processes.
• Assist with large-scale content updates and refresh projects.
• Work closely with SEO, marketing, product, and partnerships teams.
• Maintain editorial consistency, tone, formatting, and compliance standards.
• Use AI-assisted editorial systems and workflows responsibly.
• Ensure content meets E-E-A-T and consumer trust standards.
• Maintain editorial and disclosure standards appropriate for insurance and financial content.

We’re building a world-class content engine behind the business, and we’re looking for a Pet Content Editor to scale our published content.

What You’ll Do
